Logistics Engineering Cultivation Schemes

 

 1. Basic information

   Degree-granting: Bachelor of Engineering

Major advantages and characteristics: Logistics engineering has the characteristics of multidisciplinary cross. To form its advantages and characteristics, logistics engineering specially emphasis on the combination of management science and engineering, control engineering, information science and technology disciplines. And it fully attaches great importance to the application information technology and the cultivation of engineering design ability.

2. Education Objective

Logistics Engineering cultivates students to satisfy the needs of the development of China's socialist modernization. These students are fully developed in beauty, intelligence and physique. The graduates shall have a solid natural science and humanities foundation, and a good grasp of the basic theory and method of logistics engineering. They shall be familiar with the modern logistics operation model and have strong computer technology and engineering design ability. The graduates are applied senior engineering and technical personnel with modern management and innovation consciousness, who can work on logistics system planning, design, maintenance and operation management in logistics enterprises and logistics departments. And they can engage in the development and application of new technology, logistics engineering logistics project planning, prediction, design and implementation of integration, design and application of logistics equipment, logistics information system development, maintenance and usage.

  Students are required to complete five innovative entrepreneurial education project credits, including career planning and employment guidance course (1credit). 8. Other instructions

1).Public elective course. Students should choose 4 credits’ courses under the category of humanities and social science, 2 credits’ courses under category of art and sports, and 1 credit’ courses under category of comprehension, totally 7 credits. These courses are suggested to choose in the third or fourth semester.

2).Major elective course. There are two modules in major elective course, and we suggest students to organize their major elective courses according to one of the module.
